In 1969, Designed Stairs was born in the garage of Bob DuCharme's Naperville home. Soon after, we moved to an industrial space in West Chicago, then grew to build our own facility in Sandwich, Illinois.
As we grew, we expanded our service area. 55+ years later, you would be hard-pressed to find a Chicago suburban town that doesn't have a Designed Stairs installed. While styles change, quality never goes out of style — many of the homes we did stairs in 55 years ago still enjoy their Designed Stair.
